When memorializing some recently departed rock and roll greats, why not thrashify your tribute?! Just ask supergroup Metal Allegiance.

There’s a very cool new tribute disc coming out next month that pays homage to the late David Bowie, Glenn Frey and Lemmy.

Among the tunes they are covering include Eagles’ “Life In The Fast Lane”, Bowie’s “Suffragette City” and the one I may be most excited for, Motorhead’s “Iron Fist”. While all good choices, I think Metal Allegiance would also kill these classics:
