I’m not the biggest fan in the world of cover songs. But when they are done well, they can be quite special. Case in point, Foo Fighters!
The band released recent versions of the AC/DC classic “Let There Be Rock” in honor of the late, playing a live version recently in honor of the late, great Malcolm Young.
But this version recorded weeks before he passed kicks some major ass!
I say Foo release a version of this tune with Angus playing on it with them. If that were to happen I say it gets at least a Grammy nod. Plus it opens up the millennial generation to some of the awesome balls-out rock and roll that’s sorely lacking in today’s musical climate.
