25th Annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony - Show

You say ‘Goodbye’ (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Elton John and Slayer),…I say ‘Hello’ (Phil, Mike and Tony?) With the farewell announcements from the aforementioned bands leaving me a bit down in the dumps, Genesis are giving me a faint ray of hope.

Tony Banks said recently he’d be up for some more reunion gigging with Phil Collins. He saw one of his reunion shows recently and said he sounded pretty darned good, and of course, Mike Rutherford. Recently, another interesting wrinkle surfaced when another member of the classic lineup expressed interest in playing with his old mates again.

Instinctively, I think back to their big show at Giants Stadium over 10 years ago.

Awesome as it was, the Genesis nerd in me would love to see something more like this! Perhaps a show or two at Radio City where Phil, Tony and Mike are joined by Peter and Steve to do ‘The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway’ in its entirety?
