One Last NY Grand Slam for the Big Four?

Well, the first of the Big Four of Thrash are saying their deafening goodbyes. Slayer are hitting the road later this year and are then calling it quits once they finish up in June after bludgeoning metal for 37 years.

Not surprisingly, there’s a clamor for one last Big Four metal show, with Dave Mustaine even voicing his desire for one more go around with Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax and Metallica.

As for me, you bet I would like to see them one last time, especially after their landmark show at Yankee Stadium.

And, yes, I already checked the baseball schedule during the weekend Slayer hit New Jersey and Connecticut (first weekend in June). The Bombers are playing away that weekend, which means the Stadium is empty and ready for thousands of head-banging psychos.
