One Last NY Grand Slam for the Big Four?

Well, the first of the Big Four of Thrash are saying their deafening goodbyes. Slayer are hitting the road later this year and are then calling it quits once they finish up in June after bludgeoning metal for 37 years.

Not surprisingly, there’s a clamor for one last Big Four metal show, with Dave Mustaine even voicing his desire for one more go around with Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax and Metallica.

As for me, you bet I would like to see them one last time, especially after their landmark show at Yankee Stadium.

DJ Cummerbund is back! After captivating the jocks here with his all-time great mash-up of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” and Earth, Wind and Fire’s September”,…

,…he calls this mash-up opus “Rock & Roll Until a Reasonable Hour”, in which melds to great effect the stylings of “Rock and Roll All Nite” by KISS and The Commodores’ classic “Easy”.

I would have preferred he call it something along the lines of “Easy Like Partying Every Day”. Nonetheless, it’s another masterwork.
